Questions about a Low NOx Heater?

Shopping around for a new Raypak heater to replace our troublesome 12 y.o. Hayward, and I'm currently leaning toward the 266K BTU model.

Looking at prices, I found a Low NOx version on intheswim.com that's significantly cheaper due to a sale. Would the Low NOx feature add any bells and whistles that may eventually reduce reliability or any other issues? I'm in Indiana and the Low NOx is not a requirement, but if it's cheaper, why would I not want this?

You've got a pretty big pool, any specific reason you're going with a 266k vs a 400k BTU model?

The low NOx models are slightly more complex and have a blower setup.

If you are going to change from a 250K heater to a 400K heater you need to confirm that your gas meter and gas pipe can handle the additional gas flow.
