So when we bought the house, the pool had been resurfaced in 2013 along with a remodel. It was finished with a quartz plaster. I am now looking at resurfacing again, and hope someone can give me some guidance. Getting quotes, and there are alot of opinions out there on materials. So far I have spoken to two companies, and am getting a bid from a third. So here are my questions:
Should the quartz surface have lasted longer than 11 years? PebbleSheen installer says that is normal for quartz, and they are not his preferred material. Claims that the PebbleSheen will last 20+ years.
If a PebbleSheen type surface is better, what about the other non PebbleSheen surfaces that are competitors? Namely Crystal stones or Mini Pebbles.
Any thoughts or if anyone knows a good installer they can recommend in the Dallas area, that would also be helpful. Thanks in advance for any assistance/advice.
