Glass Tile Fading

Did anyone use Furlo Glass Mosaic glass tiles and they started fading and turning brown? We bought them from a large reputable tile company in Houston, TX and are hoping they will help. What a pain! The pool build was painful enough, after the first company left with half our $. I'm starting to think we are cursed, lol.

Hopefully this is the right place to put this. It's not currently under construction, but it will be, once again, soon, lol

You sure it is the tile color that faded and not the thinset that shows through the glass tile?

Have you popped one faded tile off to compare it to a new tile?

We haven't done that. But, now it is turning to a dingy color in places, some that are nowhere near the pool water. Plus the tile is made with the color layer on the back of the tile. It's not opaque. A pool company came to give us a quote and said its happening to a bunch of people around the Houston area

Here is an interesting article about glass tile problems...

We are in houston area as well and have had such a headache with our glass tile fading yellow. Luckily our pool tile person is awesome and got it replaced right away. How old is your tile? We noticed the yellow about 8 months after install.
