My pool was built by Blue Haven Pools in Spring 2014. One of my pool lights went out this past summer. By out I mean it no longer fully lights and just flickers while the other two lights (one is in a connected spa) rotate through the colors normally. I unscrewed the light while I had the pool drained down for some other work and the attached photos is what I have.

From what I can tell, this is a Bellson PAL-2T assembly out of Australia. Unfortunately I cannot find any information about this particular unit via web search.

I am curious if the lamp in this is replaceable? I see on the rear of the fixture it reads "USE ONLY PAL 12V AC LED LAMPS" along with the model/type "PAL-2T." The attached photos include a front shot of the fixture with and without the lens cover/bezel.

I would appreciate any information someone may have.

Is this a 1.5" thread?

If yes, you might be able to use a different light that screws into the hole, but the controls might be different.

How many lights do you have?

You might have to replace all lights to get them to work with the same controller.

What controller do you have?

Did you contact Blue Haven or the builder?

I have an Aqua Rite pool panel, so I guess the controller is a Hayward controller.
AquaRite is not a controller.

How do you turn the lights on and off?

Are the lights color or just white?

If the lights are just white with an On/Off switch, then you can use any nicheless white LED light that has the same voltage and fits the threads, which are usually 1.5" threads.

By out I mean it no longer fully lights and just flickers while the other two lights (one is in a connected spa) rotate through the colors normally.

I see on the rear of the fixture it reads "USE ONLY PAL 12V AC LED LAMPS" along with the model/type "PAL-2T."
If you cycle colors using an on/off switch, a new light might not have the same color sequence.

You can replace all three lights at the same time or maybe put the lights on separate switches and transformers.

The lighting wire goes into the ProLogic (sorry, I wrote AquaRite earlier) control panel and it handles the automatic on and off based on the time I set. I have not opened the panel beyond the front door so I do not know the specific controller make/model inside the case. I have two lights in the pool and one in the connected spa. The three lights come on and are synchronized as they rotate through white, green, blue, purple, and red. I can press the light off/on button rapid in sequence on my hockey puck to make the color of the lights fixed, or to fast cycle.

I contacted Matthew at PAL lighting and he gave me the part number, PAL-2WLCU, and is sending me a quote for the replacement lamp. Hopefully the replacement lamp is synchronized to the other lights and I do not have to buy three replacements at $150USD+.

Thank you for your help.
