Goldline ProLogic PS- 4 startup problems.

Shut the system down and unplug the bus strip for ‘Remote Display’ (Red Dot) as well as the wireless antennae (base station) if applicable.

Power back up.

If the display returns, plug each connector back in, one at a time, to determine which is affecting the display.

Can you show the writing on the black thermistor (Arrow #1).

Check the 2 amp fuse (Arrow #2).

The top red dot is a thermistor.

Can you show the writing on this?

The bottom red dot is a fuse.

Check for continuity.

I left the power off for 4 hours and went out. When I returned home I switched on the power and it fired right up. (I had all the headers disconnected)
I am able to plug all the accessory headers back in with no problem and everything is functioning normally again.

The display now works fine. I have done the steps 1- 4D-4E checks many times always OK. 4E = 10V.
All the fuses are fine. They usually wouldn't cause an intermittent problem.

Of some concern is the 24VAC transformer wire insulation is turning brown/burnt near the connectors. Might be from overheating or current draw somewhere?

Here's some new PICS to answer your questions.

Thanks
