Uncovered and unused for three years

So no give at all then.

That is a green pole BUT it is NOT the worst we have seen  There was one that had a whole eco system going..............turtles, frogs, big fish, snakes all living with pond plants growing in the pool! He was able to catch most of the critters and move them to a pond down the road.

Yours looks mostly like living algae. Be warned it is going to STINK when you start killing it and removing it. Plan to have a place/area to put it as you take it out so it does not kill any grass or such.

Just as support, here is a picture of a friends pool that was brought back to life after sitting uncovered for 30 years....yes 30 years. He was able to just repaint it and buy new equipment. It was his childhood home so it nice for him to be able to use it again. It took him about 3 weekends justFriend's Pool.jpgto get all of the junk out of it but was worth it in the end.
