Questions about my new liner

Hi
I just had a new liner installed.
I was hoping someone could show me pics of the finishing of the liner install beside the stairs for example.
I feel like this might be missing something but I don't want to say something til I'm sure.
The part above the track is covered in a glue of some kind. Should I've left to remove and clean this up myself? I spent almost $6000 having the liner and filter replaced.
I shall now try to attach pictures.

I don't know if this is helpful but here is a picture of our liner installed in July of 2016. I think there are a couple different styles of connecting the liner. But, like I said, no expert here. Just another pool owner. But I wouldn't be happy with the way they left you either. You paid good money to have that liner replaced and in my opinion it should look better than they left it. Wish I could be more help.

Just remember, I'm no expert. :?: Just how I would feel about it. Maybe someone else will chime in with their advice or opinion. What did that area look like before they installed the new liner? Got a picture of the 'before'?

Looks like duct tape residue.

Who is the pool manufacturer?

That's what I think it is too. It's a pain to scrape off. Would you expect to have to do that for yourself?
