Post subject: Possible bad R-0003 reagent? Posted: August 29th, 2011, 9:41 am |

I recently broke out a new vial of this reagent. Now I'm suspecting that it is possibly bad because my CC numbers have been uncharacteristically low (more or less zero when usually I run about 0.5-1 due to so many leaves that fall into my pool).
Is it possible that this reagent is bad, or am I just running my pool just right for once?
Thanks!

What color is it? Quote: R-0003 is DPD Reagent #3. It should be a clear colorless liquid. If it turns yellow, it has gone bad.

What's the lot number? It's on the bottle, format looks like 1081A.
