Bought a new house 2 weeks ago. Initial tests showed salt at only 1100 FC 0 CYA 50 Added 6 bags of salt to get to 3100. Then noticed all of the lights were green on the cell except the Power light which was Red-service. Any ideas of troubleshooting.
Pool is 5 years old no idea on how old the cell is.
My thought now with the initial low salt was the cell has been dead for a while and the previous owner just used clorine pucks.

A red power LED almost invariably means the cell needs to be replaced.

Red means over 10000 hours on the cell and it's time to put a new replacement cell in.

Thanks for the responses. So all I need to do is order the replacement cell? Or could something else be causing the issue

If it is a 2.0 cell then replace the flow switch. The flow switch also has the temp sensor built in to it and chances are that has gone out. The normally still work but they have no clue what the salt level is.
