I recently inherited a Ultra Frame 24 x 52 intex pool - I already own the wonderful sand filter & salt Generator. Giving the little one to my sister for my two nieces & nephew. The bigger one will remain here. But wanting to dig about 6" into the ground & level the ground off - our ground here is mostly clay & dirt. Do we get sand to level it off or no? We are going to purchase the thick foam to put underneath the pool regardless - any advise??

Hi, welcome to TFP! A few of our members like to put foam under the pool to pad the bottom and block weeds. This thread, useful links for fellow Intex pool owners contains links to a lot of posts from fellow intex users and contains ideas for installation and some good problem solving discussions as well.
