Hello all,
Ok when I have my valves set for the main drain or skimmer the pump pressure is aroun 35. When I switch it to cleaner to use the hose to vacuum the pressure drops to 0 and the pump drains. No vacuum from the hose at all. If I switch back it immediately picks back up to 35 and the jets purge air. This is my first pool, any help is great. Thanks.

Are you filling the hose with water before you switch to the vacuum?

It's submerged. But there's no vacuum at the plug on the side either

If you could post pictures of your equipment pad and pool that would help us identify the problem.
