Just pour it slowly in front of your return while the pump is running. No need to add bleach to the skimmer.

Our FC is holding around 12 but still working on getting up to 15 for any amount of time. It will happen though! I posted some pictures on Facebook. I couldn't find the post here telling how to do it. Tomorrow will start all over again!! You can go to http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=1 ... 63af2cf3d6 to see the pictures.

There isn't a well defined lower limit on the amount of time you need to wait. Five hours is about the shortest I would let it go down to if there was a loss of 1.0, a little shorter for a loss of 0.5 or lower.

You are still doing wonderfully. You will be done in less than a week from when you started, even with this setback, which is much better than average for baquacil conversions.

Thanks again for the encouragement. We didn't have as much wind with last nights storms so we didn't have near the debris in the pool!! We may have actually held our chlorine over night. I'm going to monitor it again tonight just to make sure. My CC may actually have been 0 this morning too. I say "may have" because I don't think I was as awake as I should have been to be testing. I want to make sure it's all good before proceeding. I do have a question on some stuff that is accumulating on the underside of the skimmer basket. Pictures at http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4 ... =630011036 Should I be concerned about this? It's on the opposite side also. Thanks so much for the help you all have given. I can't imagine trying to do this by myself even with the pool school and the pool calculator. They're wonderful resources but there's just something about someone giving encouragement along the way.
