I love my new TF-100 kit, but it's missing one thing that is useful for me -- the acid demand test. I continue to struggle to detect the ever-so-subtle differences in shades of purple in the 7.6-8.0 range (where my pH always stays), and the acid demand test is an extra tool that helps me to know where the pH is. My previous (inferior) Pentair kit had the acid demand test, and it was useful to help me feel more confident in my pH reading.
Is there an "add-on" for the TF-100 kit to perform the acid demand test?
Thanks, Phillip

Hi, Phillip, Not many use it. In fact, your's is only the first or second request in three years, I think. There simply doesn't appear to be much "demand" for it. (I apologize for that intentional pun ) www.taylortechnologies.com makes a stand-alone version, I'm pretty sure. If not, PM me back and I can help you put together what you need.

To add acid demand on to the TF-100 you just need a small bottle of R-0015.

Sometime's it's nice to add a drop or two to see if it's closer to 7.6 or 7.5. But really, the pool calculator seems to work better. Jason's right. As long as you don't have to pay shipping, it's cheap enough
