Or bad, depending on how you look at it. So we got a new spa cover a few weeks ago and since we have been hitting the 100's outside, although we have the temp in the spa set to 98, I opened it today and the temp read 109!!!! We've noticed that the temps have been reading around the 104/105 range this past week )the cover stays on unless we are going to get in it, but haven't done that lately). The control unit has been replaced this season too. Are the temps getting uber high in the spa because of the combo of the new cover and the high temps outside??
Thanks!!
B

I would take a thermometer and check the water. I noticed when temps were up, my spa was hotter than I set it to, but that was only 1 degree centigrade. If the spa is in the sun I think temp can go up, but I would moniter this carefully!
