Hi all, I have a fiberglass pool, installed aprox 28 years ago, the gel coat has seen better days.

Do I need a special gel coat for a pool, would gel coat for fiberglass boats be suitable?

I am in Seattle & boats out number pools here.

If anyone can give me an idea of how hard it is to remove the existing coat & prep the surface for the new coat it would be much appreciated.
