this looks like a fine mesh dome that's been squished with time... it keeps accumulating debris between it and the top of the filter cover does this need to be replaced?

/shame >> i guess that was the early signal, ... in another 1 week the spa spillover became really slow-which is my notice for ... time to clean the filter :p now all looks to be back to normal ... ofcourse i have something else to fix... the pool light is almost dead ... >facepalm< ... topic...

EDIT: pool filter needed a good cleaning and that restored function back to normal ------------------ well... i got a new pool pump (from Challenger 2hp to Whisperflo 2hp) ... and since then the Poolvergnuegen looks to be moving a little slower. But the main problem is that every 30-60 minutes...

its like 40-50s ... but it sure was working... by checking every few days (and getting the % to 0 ) took about 2 months but got the TC down from 20 to 5 but i just wonder why the setting reverts back... maybe because temp is too low? i dont know ... i guess we'll see when it gets much warmer

my SWG the Jandy PLC1400 -- the SWG control panel keeps returning the % setting back to 35% I've been fighting this all winter, it appeared to hold the setting for maybe 1-2 days i didnt see any wire that be to hookup battery, and i replaced the battery on the main control panel, but that hasnt...

i wired the aqualink center to the aquapure, nothing happened ... no message or info on the Remote screen, no message on the Aquapure when changing % aquapure seems correct version 120xxx which is higher than 112xxx looking in the manuals there's no indication that % can be changed from the...

after i opened and RTFM the answer to my question is yes, however it needs to be wired and the a-ho-ncho who installed it didnt wire the Aquapure to the Aqualink ... if i use a '4 conductor outdoor rated' wire... do i have to do any configuration after that?

can i review or configure the SWG from the aqualink RS4 allbuton remote?

so when my ph goes up it doesnt seem to go higher than 8.2 (electronic ph meter) even if i leave it like that for a month without MA (maybe it follows some kind of logarithmic curve ?)

i added the borax to my pool and the ph stayed stable for longer, but its again drifted upwards ... and now i have to add a whole bunch MuriaticAcid at a time to fix it ... so i dont know what it saved me ... it supposedly might serve as a secondary pool sanitizer along the chlorine

I have this Jandy Allbutton RS4 wired remote in my house and i wasa wondering if it can control the SWG also ? the other Q is - can i upgrade my system to the iAqualink ? -- and does that allow control of the SWG ?

i cleaned the swg although it didnt have much buildup and didnt fizz for too long, and had it back up at 100% for 2 days without change in the chlorine pool level so i got a new plc1400 (kit) at amz, just swapped it and left it at 100% ... ... its been less than 12 hours and the chlorine went...

turned off the equipment and then last night 10pm tested FC = 7.5, 7am today tested FC = 7.5 but now i have testing paranoia... like usual if i wait like 15 seconds after it turns clear i see a shade of pink coming back so i put another drop, this AM after the 15 sec and drop,, i waited again...
