Public water supply. The surface has been ground down and new fiberglass sheets added. I wonder if after adding water I should use a chemical to remove any mineral traces?- wtp11

older fiberglass, thinking a remodel
I have a 35 yr. old san juan fiberglass in ground that needs resurfacing. I have an issue with cobalt staining now, will it be resolved with a new resurface? I am thinking of using a salt water system with my DE filter and pump. Thanks- wtp11
