Test kit is Taylor K-2005 I’m brushing daily, and yes I just backwashed. My latter isn’t hollow, and the sliding steps are not in. But it does have a bottom, like a flat base in the pool. This goofy latter is screwed down. So what I’m confused by is my fc(@ 17 right now) is already at shock...

I have added chlorine. Sunday I did and today my reading is zero.

Okay my levels went from FC 6.5 & CC .5 this a.m. to FC 4 & CC .5 this afternoon cya is less than 20( could still see the black dot w/ tube filled to the top) water is still clear. still not sure why my cya disappeared in like a week??? any help will be appreciated!

No I used the correct reagent. I actually just tested it again. I filled the tube to the top and it's cloudy but you can still see the black dot faintly.
