It has been beautiful since opening it in April. I added CYA then as it was really low at 20. I switched out all of the DE for new fresh stuff. We vacuum every day. I was there this am and its clear and blue but cloudy in the deep end.

Thanks for the replies. I was reading their codes but its not very clear. Public pools the rules are clear but residential pools the codes get cloudy.

I'm sure this varies, but I'm trying to find out if we have to have a fence around our pool. We've torn down the one that was there as it was doing nothing anyway. We do have chainlink fence around the property with locks on the gates. Inputs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi and Welcome. I can’t offer any help but just encouragement. I started with a black pool on 5/31 and my SLAM is done already. For me, it took around 43 bottles of walmart/target 8.25% bleach (sodium hypochlorite only) and a few boxes of borax with some baking soda. Totally doable! You got this!
