We built this pool six years ago, first experience. My husband has always just used the pool store to measure levels, and eyeballed the chemicals. I don't know what type of filter we have, the pool itself is 11,601 gallons and the spa is another 750 gallons so I combined those for measurement. We have several issues going on here in Texas, including what I think is calcium buildup, darkening of plaster, bees on the spa spillover. I'm ordering the test kit today and downloaded the app so hopefully I'll be back on with questions once I process the information. We don't use liquid chlorine, we use tablets and then powdered shock (?).
