ORP Probe Failing; Current in the Water; Bonding Issue?

Pool is only 17,500 Gallons with (2) T-15 Cells. The SWG's are not the problem because the problem starts before they are introduced to the system. Immediately after installing a brand new system or probes the ORP reads approx 320-350 (in the testing wells). I have put brand new PRO-25-Au probes...

ORP Probe Failing; Current in the Water; Bonding Issue?

Pool is outdoor in a courtyard above the parking garage. Pool equipment in the parking garage. Apartments built up aboave and around the pool. Bad motor --> cavitation damage = useless wet end?

Re: SUCCESS!!! Thanks for all the help in multiple threads!!! :) Seems like your pump is too big for the plumbing. Sure you can change the plumbing but maybe simpler just take the motor and impeller down 1/2 HP. Pool pumps offer different flows to the amount of head. Replacing an entire pump...

Replaced timer and is not working properly

Disregard missing the off setting, that just puts the system into service mode, not important and shouldn't change the wiring. Does the timer keep time? What is the voltage of the pump and the timer they supplied?

Help diagnosing peculiar behavior of DE filter

There is a simple resolve to this problem and that is to install a check valve between the filter and pump. THAT IS NOT MY RECOMMENDATION!. There is air in your system that is being drawn in when the pump is turned off. Most likely this would be a physical leak while the pump is running. I agree...

Pool pump shorts the breaker, light does not

Is the pump running on 120 or 240V Pool Light 12V or 120V Breaker Amperage Personally I wouldn't operate my light and pump on the same circuit, it should be broken down further to another sub panel, especially if your light is 120V If your light is 120V it should be GFCI protected The starting...

    Stenner Pump tubing cracks

Who installed the stenner pump and is the tubing clear? If so the tubes are probably just water line for a fridge and will not handle sun and chemical degradation. There is nothing wrong with this approach because it is much cheaper and depending on the run from chemical tank to pump it probably...

    Stenner Auto Chlorinator Questions

Re: Auto-feeder tank in direct sun Stenner chemical container tanks are black to protect from UV but any plastic tank will technically protect from UV. There should be no concern for the location of your equipment. The Liquidator is a descent liquid feed system, but if you want professional...
