Zazoh, I had the same problem with the unit they sold me, I removed it and bought a liquidator and never looked back. The system, Im sorry to say, is not worth the money. This is ofcourse my opinion.

Bama, Have you tried the needle valve from US Plastics? I'm curious if that one would work.

So Rangeball, in your opinion it would be a waste of time to purchase the needle valve, have you tried placing them in series?

Has anyone had any success with using the needle valve instead of the drip buttons for the acid injection, I have been unsuccessful with drip buttons, finding the right buttons, air leaks and the sort. I think I will try this, its seems like it would be a slam dunk if the flow can be metered...

I use both, and only had problems w/ tws on initial start-up, after that no problem. I will say that the clorine that I was buying from HD had allot of other stuff besides clorine that settles on the bottom, since I have been purchasing the 12% from the pool store I have very little other stuff...

Hey Big Thunder, I had the same issue after the upgrade with clear tubing that I purchased from HD, I was getting a cut off of flow, so I went to Lowes and bought some yellow 3/8" I.D. hose that is used for pressure washers, I realy could'nt justify spending the $50 for the tygon tubing and this...

Fkong, Are the header pipes 2" on those panels?

Ironmanix, Take a look at the Liquidator, I installed it last year and have been very pleased with easability and the effectiveness of the product. I spent about $175 for the unit and the conversion parts, Take a look at the thread about the liquidator. Also the 3/8" conversion is a must. TRW

I have left my installed and add my CYA that has been placed in a sock in the feeder and set it at 3-4, it works well to introduce the CYA into the pool.

Did you go with the Blue Fountain signature couping?, I did and the color has faded considerable, I can live with it because it blends with the decking, but if I did over again I would have gone with an on-site poured couping. Tim
