    After a two month struggle, finally got the pool cover repaired and saw water for the first time. I was expecting a swamp full of frogs and unwanted growth. Surprised when it was slightly green and only leaves. Water test was: FAC - 0 TAC - 0 CH - high 460 CYA - Low 25 TA - High 150 PH - 7.8...

    A mess on my hands with no where to turn.....Coverstar won't open

    The cover is electric. But since posting this morning, I now find nothing about the cover moving, except the torque mechanism in the gear box. I attempted to tighten the screw as it instructed to do, by 1/4 and still nothing. I'll take some photos for clarification.
