    Yeah I don't use the pucks anymore since the water change to get rid of the cya. So I take it there is no real problem letting the TA go to 70-80, if that's what keeps my pH consistent?

    12 year old surface. Still great condition. Have a spa spillover and a waterfall. Have been keeping the waterfall off due to airation.

    Yes have my own kit, the Taylor complete (high) DPD Cl (0.5-5) not theFAS-DPD chlorine test. Wish I had gotten that one now. But never had any issues with my pool till now. Probably because my old test kit was inaccurate from chemicals that were too old. I agree will be difficult to maintain...
