    Great day!

It is always nice when you can open your pool in the summer and it's not green. Thanks TFP! Drained part of it before winter got my numbers right, tarped it, and didn't do anything till today. Looks good and still has decent chemical numbers.

Intex 12x24 Ultra Frame Winterizing - sides bowing concern

Luckily for us we have a clothes line pole close and I had a ground anchor. I put ratchet straps on and kept the pool kind of pulled back instead of letting it bow so much. First year with a rectangle pool.

    Question on closing

Yes I was only going to drain down to the inlet and outlets but not below. Would it still be ok?

    Question on closing

I have seen to close you shock hold overnight, drain, cover etc. Any reason you couldn't lower water, then shock?? My as well save yourself some chlorine instead of just draining it out? Just a thought and question..

    Cost of Intex Ultraframe 16x32

Thanks! Seems like I seen someone else do it. My wife found them at dollar tree. So cheap way to keep rocks out

Chickened Out - Cutting Skimmer In 15'x48" Prims Graywood Intex Pool

This is on my to-do list...didn't want to do it to our new liner this year but hopefully next year. The lil over the top Intex just doesn't keep up with the 32x16.

    Interesting...but kind of figured

This site is great. Ever since finding TFP my pools have been great. And getting the pool math app even better.

    Interesting...but kind of figured

The shortage of pools cause everyone went out and bought one. I don't think people realize the work to keep one up and going. Seeing them for sale on Facebook. Liners are so dirty and awful. And the number of people selling them now is crazy. Ok that's all I got for now lol.

    Uh oh Dreaded low salt

So my Intex salt water system I believe is quitting. And I know getting parts is almost impossible right now. So what is everyones thoughts on new system for a 32x16x52 Intex pool. ~15000 gallons?
