A/C Filter Cartridge not catching fine debris

We use Unicell also, and I'll never go back to the Intex or generic ones. They are awesome and well worth the money!!!!

    Fittings for Intex to Hayward!

Thanks!!! I'm sure I have a few of the rubber gasket things in the garage. We upgraded from the smaller intex fittings to the larger ones with plungers, and then to the Hayward ones, so I'll get I have some stuck in a box somewhere. I already have 3 of the GAME ones, but I will definitely...

thanks! Where did the rubber washer come from? And the cap? So you were making something to cap off the fitting in the pool? Or a fitting to connect universal fittings to Intex hoses?

    Fittings for Intex to Hayward!

Hello all! I have an Intex pool that we have converted to Hayward skimmer and eyeball returns. It's been about 3 years since we did so, and I swear I'm having brain issues and cannot remember what all we need. Anyway, I remember having to buy these GAME adapters for something, but...

    new pump?

I've decided to upgrade to a sand filter pump, and ordered this one https://www.amazon.com/Intex-Krystal-Filter-Ground-110-120V/dp/B00GSPHS7E but now I'm second-guessing myself. My pool is 22 x 52, and holds about 10,740 gallons per Intex manual. Have a Haywood wide-mouth skimmer installed...

    Plunger valve - small knob

it is actually an air valve that sucks air in if the vacuum is too strong for the amount of water coming out (like if have a stronger pump than what came with the pool, or if the strainer basket gets blocked). I have to cover mine when vacuuming otherwise my pump loses suction from the air...

16X48 Ultra Frame Intex Pool Filter Upgrade

If you have the Intex plunger valves they have a little grey nipple that has a black rubber membrane that will suck air, quite easily, if you have a stronger pump than the wimpy ones they come with. I had to cover ours with electrical tape!!

Secondary Filter looses suction and water only when vacuuming

This is a shot in the dark, but if you have the Intex plunger valves, they do have a small grey nipple behind the valve and before the collar, with rubber on top, that will suck air when trying to vacuum. We just cover ours with electrical or duct tape and it works fine.

Anyone have these wedding cake steps?

I have these that we are about to install I think they are Lumio wedding cake II We drilled extra wide holes in various places to aid with water flow. We made weights out of large pvc pipes filled with sand and water and sealed. Our only dilemma now is how to keep the top step (ballast)...

Considering getting sand filter and/or SWG....

I'm using the regular Intex paper cartridges from Walmart, Type B I think. If I spray it every 24 hours, it's looks dingy but not awful. If i go 48-72 hours, it's definitely a darker brownish/grey color. I've been using the same two since last year, just spraying them down and alternating...
