Blue Diamond OR Dolphin Deluxe 4?

I have the Dolphin Deluxe 4. Overall I like it quite a bit, though the one thing that bothers me is the cord gets twisted up and needs to be untwisted every once and awhile. If I were to look for another cleaner I would want one with a swivel cord. I find the caddy an annoyance for two reasons...

    PCC 2000 Help

I seem to have the problem where some valves don't seem to close with my PCC thats about 7 years old (bought my house last year as well). I've been kinda assuming my module has reached its EOL and needs to be replaced but depending on your post maybe there is something else. For the heads not...

    Dolphin Diagnostic Cleaner Question

Issac, I don't have the exact same cleaner (I have the Deluxe 4) you need to make sure the yellow floats are extended out ( mine slide in & out ) If they/one is on the inward setting the will only clean the bottom, maybe go half way up if one float is extended.

    Flow Switch vs. Board Replacement

Jdhgator, Sounds like a Motherboard to me, but some of the more experienced guys might have a different opinion. ( This is a swim-pure right? ) You might want to read the following thread as some people have repaired the PCB on their own...

Installing SWG... DIY or pay a contractor?

I did it myself as well.. It took me a few weeks of lazy installation over the winter. I worked on it an hour or two at a time. Probably about 7 hours in total due to some accidents.. 1) When putting in the unions make sure you put the nut on before gluing... :( 2) You can buy the plumbed...

    Unexpected Very High Salt/TDS Reading

I am going out on a limb here as I don't have near the experience as chem geek or Jason.. The test strips I have for TDS would bleach out at a high enough FC level causing a false high reading. So the 20+ FC could be effecting the tests both at store and home ( Did they use the same type of test...

High TA - new to SWG

As the subject says I have a TA of 150. From my reading as the swim season go's by the SWG will slowly raise the PH, at which time I add acid and will end up lowering my TA & PH. Is a high TA going to cause issues with the SWG? Everything else appears to be in-balance. Other random...

New pool owner... Where do I start?

Dave, Unfortunately I just started taking care of the pool this morning ( I.E. I am in the final stages of purchasing the home and would like to ensure the pool is maintianed before closing. As I take over I will probably go to the BBB form of pool maintinance ) What is being used to...

New pool owner... Where do I start?

The pool is currently cloudy white. The pool store recommended draining and refilling the pool due to high TDS.. What do you guys think? Where do I start? Lowering PH? Adding CYA? both at the same time? Pool is an IG Vinyl ( 25,800 Gal's ) Temp: 83 Sat idx: 0.5 TDS: 2300 CYA: 0 Tot Chlorine...
