    Tagelus/Pac-Fab TA-60 handle positions?

If you look at my pic above your post: 9 o'clock position is the input flow from the pump (to the left) of where standing to take the picture. 12 o'clock is the gauge. 3 o'clock is the backwash output. 6 o'clock in the return to the pool. My equipment pad is 10' feet from my pool which is...

How To Hide My Equipment Pad?

Thanks...The equipment is completely shaded which was my primary concern. During the winter I disassemble most of the equipment and store it in the pool house. Not much rain protection but it's sure nicer to look at...Plus it keeps little ones from being near the hot motor!

How To Hide My Equipment Pad?

This post is long over due...I thought I updated it. Here's what I came up with...The boards are spaced with large gaps for air flow. There are 2 hinged boards for access to valves and such for start up or vacuuming. This board has a spring to keep the wind from opening it. Plenty of...

    Is my impeller bad?

That was it...I'm up and running! Thanks! Yes...Get a timer. I run my pump in the night and it shuts down just before the sun hits it. If I want to manually run my system I just flip the switch.

    Pump Repair/Replacement - General Upgrades

Yeah for sure...An earwig blew a capacitor in my AC unit one year. I guess they like nesting on warm switches. I replaced it myself for $20. Can a pump be lubed or is it not necessary? Will clearing it out with my air compressor be good enough? Thanks

    Pump Repair/Replacement - General Upgrades

I think you might have just saved me $500...I disconnected the pump last night and looked it over in the shop but didn't do anything. After reading your quote I just went and tried turning the screw...Mine has some mechanical switch covering the screw so I slipped a small pair of channel locks...

Julie, Can I ask how much this part of the project cost? Were they builders or renovators? Thanks.
