How did this work our for you? I am dealing with the same issue.

I have been given a 24 x 12 intex above ground rectangle pool. the only thing wrong is where the poles go in on the long side the daughter cut the seam about 2 ft the place that holds the poles to make the rail. everything else is good. Do you think I can repair by using glue heavy duty tape...
