Dolphin Active 30i - shuts off after 30-60 seconds

I called Maytronics, and they believe that the motors may be coming dislodged during transit. They sent the attached video with a suggested fix - basically taking the motor out and reseating it. I’ll try it tonight.

Dolphin Active 30i - shuts off after 30-60 seconds

I purchased an Active 30i this week from Marina and had the exact same issue as you. Worked for 15-20 minutes the first time, and then the fault after self test and red light on the power supply. What was the resolution on your issue? I checked the output voltage on the power supply and it is...

    Compupool cpsc 36

I had the same issue with mine and Compupool sent me both an LCD assembly and a new cell. I installed the assembly and cell last weekend and all appears to be functioning correctly. Install of both took me about 10 minutes. My cell and/or LCD assembly failed about a month after I purchased...

    Time for a new pump

My old hayward super pump appears to be very near failure. The bearings are making a horrible screeching noise and the main seal is leaking. I think the pump may be near 20 years old, so it is time for a replacement. Some info about my pool - 2 skimmers, 2 returns, 1 1/2" plumbing for all...

    compupool cpsc36 problem

Don't mean to hijack, but I called compupool re: my apparently inoperative cell (same symptoms as OP) and they are sending me a new cell and control board. Hopefully it will be here next week sometime.

    compupool cpsc36 problem

I recently installed a CPSC 36 and am having the same problems as the OP. Quick question though - how do you determine the salt level measured by the unit? I ordered the Taylor salt test yesterday from tft and will test my salt level as soon as it arrives.

    Polaris cleaner tail

there should be a plastic hose clamp to hold the tail onto the stub. I lost mine. The polaris replacement cost may be $5 or so. I now use a small hose clamp to hold the tail hose onto the stub. Works fine.

Help with plaster patch, acid wash order

I had a chunk of plaster break off the edge of my stairs. I patched it with underwater setting plaster repair. That was a year ago. I believe it cost $10 for a 1.5 gallon container. It doesn't look perfect, but it does work, at least until I replaster the pool.

Looks great! Just curious, how many man hours do you think it took you from start to finish?

Issues in buying a used SWG

I'm looking at purchasing a used Intellichlor IC40 that is supposedly two years old, and only used a total of about 6 months. When inspecting the unit, what should I be on the lookout for? How long do the cells typically last in a seasonal pool (i.e., 4 months or so of usage per year)? I...

Lining broken pipe with vinyl hose

James and bk are right. The drain hose will certainly collapse under suction. I had the same issue with the pipe from my main drain and hoped to find an easy solution as well. There isn't one. For the time being, can you valve off that skimmer? Have you tried plugging the pipe opening in...

    Installing a polaris 380 in a pool w/o a cleaner return

Ran the line this weekend and finished the plumbing the other day. Cleaner works great. Now I just need another time clock for the booster pump. And another section of hose. Any opinions on the cheapest source of polaris parts on the web?

    Installing a polaris 380 in a pool w/o a cleaner return

thanks, guys. I ended up installing mine right below the water level. Hopefully I can get the rest of the plumbing run back to the booster pump this week and get the polaris working.

Yep, I noticed the same thing on mine last night. Frustrating.... I think a liner is going to be the ultimate solution for me as well.
