Thanks everyone. Opened it Monday night and found out the closers (last time I think I pay someone) didn't get all the water out of a section of pipe because had some major cracking. Fixed that and turned the pump on yesterday afternoon. I know you all like pics, so here is the transformation...

Is anyone in the northeast and planning on opening their pool this week? I am in PA and it looks like the next few days are to be in the 80s so thought I would see what others in the area are doing... Shaun

Just wanted to give a final posting to the conversion. Pool looks perfect. It is just crazy thinking we spent an entire season trying to use Baquacil to get this type of water and it literally took me less than 2 weeks w/ chlorine (including conversion). Thank you everyone for the help...

This rain is getting a little crazy. The pool is about to overflow and of course I just put CYA in over the weekend. An extra 1K gallons of water in a few days makes this extra fun I guess... :grrrr: In good news, the pool is even more clear today than the prev. I would upload a pic, but...

Thanks for the reply. I am still shocking and it was at 10 FC's a few hours ago, but we are having crazy storms here now (rain/lightning), so I am staying away from outside including the pool. :-D I will get back to full shock level tomorrow, but I expect the rain is going to make this fun...

Added 6 pounds CYA today. Saw the deep end drain for the first time in a while this morning.
