Here are my test readings FC = 24 CC = 1 Total Chorine = 25 Calcium Hardness = 250ppm TA = 150 CYA < 20 Since I had added Chlorine, the color was darker yellow and Ph was higher pink. Looks like CYA is very low. Any recommendations ?

Opened my pool cover (thanks to the cover, there wasn't a lot of leaves) this weekend to discover the water green. It is a In ground pool, DE filter and is about 10,000 gallons. Got the pump working and added 5-6 scoops of chlorine and kept back washing every 2-3 hours and adding DE after each...

We rarely use the deep side. 4' or 5' would be ideal to use the entire pool. Pool is not for swimming laps but just to chill out and play in the water. Can't do that in 8' of water.

Any recommendations on contractors in North Dallas area making a pool shallower ? Our pool is 8feet deep on the deeper side so I want to make it 4feet high. Has anyone done this ? What a're your experiences ? What should I be looking at cost, just a ballpark ? Thanks.
