    Waterfall spillover too wide?

Hi there. We were never able to get the water spilling cleanly over the edge, but we were able to increase the pressure enough so the water spills about 70% over the edge with the rest hitting the wall. We're very happy with it. The solution for us was this: Our pool installer had originally put...

    New glass tile is cracking

Sorry for the late reply. We bought the tile directly from SCP Distributors in FL at their NPT Tile showroom. NPT sent out a local rep last week who took photos, water readings, etc. He said he would get back to me this week with NPT's official response. You mentioned in your thread NPT said...

    New glass tile is cracking

Hi all. Does anyone have experience with newly installed glass waterline tile cracking within weeks after installation? What would be the main causes of that? You can't feel the cracks on the surface with your finger, but you can see them inside. Thanks.

How to make spa to pool waterfall flow better

I have the same issue with my spa waterfall...am still trying to find a solution. Question: Is the edge of your travertine spillover rounded-off or sharp? My pool guy rounded the edge, which seems to encourage the water to hug the travertine and aim for the wall.

    Waterfall spillover too wide?

Yes, the old spillover was the same length, but the brick was sharp edged and also nowhere near as smooth/slick as the travertine. I read on the internet something about putting a silicone bead at the bottom edge of the spillover to impede the water from running against the wall, and cause a...

Need help after plaster company failed to service new pool

Thanks for all the great information! My local pool store said I shouldn't add Calcium Hardness because it will increase the problem I'm having with calcium deposits building up on the glass beneath my waterfall. Their CH range is 200-400, and I tested at 130. Should I at least try to get to...

Need help after plaster company failed to service new pool

I just had my water tested... Free Available Chlorine...0 (So much for my new pool service company. They added chlorine last Friday and are supposed to come again this Friday. I added a half jug myself. Should I add the 1qt acid too recommended by pool store?) Total Available Chlorine...0...

    Waterfall spillover too wide?

Hi! I recently had my old brick spillover replaced on my spa with a travertine spillover. While the water used to spill over the brick with more distance from the wall, the new situation has the water spilling over just a few inches and then running down the wall, even at 2700 RPM. The pool...

Need help after plaster company failed to service new pool

Hi all. I'm a homeowner in South Florida. I had my pool plastered and new glass tile installed about three weeks ago. The company who did the diamond brite failed to properly service the pool (no chemicals, brushing, etc). Within two weeks I had green algae growing on the grout and calcium...
