What size wire from main panel to the Easy Touch? What size breaker? It will be mounted about 35' away and there is already a 1/2" emt line running out there. Thanks.

What does the power cord look like? Sometimes the cord will disintegrate and get black crud all over. Another possibility is black algae.

What was the issue?

Well I decided to read the manual and after staring at the timer for a second it made sense. It was a breeze to install. The pump isnt as quiet as the Intelliflo even on a low setting but its going to be fine.

Price, efficiency, and the rest of equipment is Hayward. Intelliflo is proven but I think Ecostar will be right up there after time.

Finally bought a Hayward Ecostar that has built in timer. So whats the proper way to wire it since I have the current pump and heater wired thru a basic 240v Intermatic 24 hour timer. How does the heater get wired in with the new pump? Thanks

Skimmer is a Waterways and I see our Vac-Mate will not set inside. Is there an adaptor or something to mkae it work? We need the skimming and cleaner suction on this pool.
