And.... I was wrong. Stay far away from the non slip additive from these guys. Cheeaaap crushed sand or quartz. Very harsh and doesn't do anything for non-slip when bare foot. Works great with foot wear. I'll be doing a light third coat with a lot of shark grip it seems.

So after much researching I went with buying some AR500 from Foundation Armor. I added enough of the Matte Pack to get a matte finish and some traction additive which seamed a lot like every other additive I've ever seen. It came out gorgeous. I pressure washed, let it dry in the sun a couple...

Question: What should I seal the cast cement coping with to prevent stains? I'd also like something that would color enhance it. When dry it's darn close to white, but when wet it shows the light tan color I really liked. The main reasons I want to seal it are to prevent the staining that...

Thanks! It's Sundek. There is a base coat color and three other pigments splattered on. I'll get the color names and post em. The builder had it on his demo pool and my wife was sold. It's amazing.

My pop said the same thing. That and marry rich. :) Regardless, I recruited him to help with those steps. Hehe. He enjoyed the modern jackhammer a lot.

Thanks! I was taking 8MP photos every 10 seconds. With a 32GB card that's way more than all day. I'm pretty much done now. Maybe one more video of the final setup of umbrellas and furniture and stuff. :)

Here's the Day 13 Video. They did the plastering, but my GoPro stopped taking images and shutdown around 1020 pics  so it's not the whole day with the pool filling and the lights coming on at the end of the day. http://youtu.be/9xhBVg_mDyo

And here's today's video. The Sundek installers finished up and it looks better than I could have hoped. They did an amazing job removing my old stamped concrete overlay and getting the new decking sprayed. Day 12 - http://youtu.be/ksraH_pPJTY

Thanks. I really prefer to do stuff myself when I can when I know it'll really matter. And before it was a really odd staircase. And they were just going to pour around an existing bit of the old sidewalk. I enjoyed jack hammering that out. Plus it was short one step. Big 11" first step.

Re: UPDATED: New Pool Build in Granbury Texas I rebuilt the forms for the stairs down from the pool deck. I didn't like the way the contractors did it at all.
