Ok, just so I am clear. I live in Dallas TX. My pump runs 9hrs a day. So the 15K salt system would be to small? I should go up to a 24K? Would that not be too big? Thanks in advance for your help

Why not drop ph below 7.0 if your not going to be in the water and you know there is rain? What harm will it do?

Update. I clean the filter with TSP. Grids look fine except the area where they are collapsed. Put DE back in the pool and we will see what happens. We have had storms here and I am fighting a terrible algae bloom. I am dumping bleach in and keeping chlorine level high. Any other ideas...

the auto valve on the right controls the side wall jets of the spa. where you see the words "pool return" below the left auto valve is a manual valve that controls the pool return or the fountain return

yes, I took it apart again just to make sure. The valve does not come into play unless I turn on the spa. That valve is jut a spring loaded door. All seals look to be in good condition.

I took off all the Phillips head screws but it will not come apart easy. This valve is an auto valve controled by the main key pad. If I press spa on the key pad it will auto turn the other way and the spa will run. I am not sure if it has gaskets so until I know more I do not want to pull...
