    Color Light Issue- HELP!

Figured it out... losing enough voltage through old Leviton on/off switch that light wasn't getting enough power. Removed switch, wired direct to GFCI and all good. New switch and problem solved. Thanks.

    Color Light Issue- HELP!

Thanks for the quick response. All 4 lights have a transformer that screws into the light fixture and the LED then attaches to the transformer. I don't think it is a transformer issue because the light works inside the house with the transformer/LED attached to a floor lamp. I tested the pool...

    Color Light Issue- HELP!

I have a problem with one of my Pentair AmerBrite LED color lights that I just can't seem to figure out (there are 4 in the pool- 3 work fine). The light was flickering and finally went out a month ago. Thinking it was a leak, I pulled the light to find it bone dry. Upon cleaning and testing...

    Pool light grounding wire nicked

As I was changing out an old, leaking pool light we ran into some problems requiring brute force. Unfortunately, the plastic coating on the grounding wire attached to the light niche with potting compound got nicked in the process in 2-3 places. Can I apply a waterproof sealant (I was thinking...

Jandy Aqualink RS8 and Spa Over-flow

Thanks for the quick response. I figured everything out except how to assign 2 buttons to the 2 different pumps I moved to Aux 7? I can only figure out how to assign one- I'm sure I am missing something that is right in front of my face...

Jandy Aqualink RS8 and Spa Over-flow

Thank goodness for this site- my pool is better than ever. My final challenge is the Jandy Aqualink RS 8 where the spa overflow is set to always be on with the pool cleaner. Unfortunately this contributes to a ph rise challenge (we also have an infinity edge so too much aeration). I saw on...

    PH Drift from aeration

Thanks for the responses. Yes- blue handle will shut it off, but I don't quite understand the design of the system if the spa bypasses the Jandy valve anyway? They essentially "forced" spa over-flow in pool mode. Also, if I turn off the blue handle the spa water never changes out. I guess I need...

    PH Drift from aeration

So after lurking for 2 years I made the plunge this year, joined the site, ordered my TFT test kit and went with the BBB method. SLAM'd pool, all is good and #'s are in check, added borates and all is essentially beautiful. Except for the darn lingering PH drift. Even after adding the borates I...
