FYI, the "Main drain Clips did NOT solve my problem. I used 2 just as he recommended but actually made it worse. My pool floor around the drain is raised somewhat and the Zodiac mat thing is the only cure for me so far. My first one lasted about 7 years and I changed it out. it was still intact...

Hey, guys, does anybody know the screw size of the faceplate locking screw. The faceplate is 16 years old with part number SP580A. The pool store doesn't have and Amazon wants 17.00 for one. I thought if I had the size I could find a ss screw at Lowes.

Guy's I just recently had my Marcite (worn out) pool painted with epoxy/urethane with a 15 year warranty. Now, I need some info on the chemistry parameters. Is everything the same as in TA, CH, Ph, etc, or are things going to be drastically different? I'm not having very much luck online. TIA

FC-6 CC-.5 PH-7.6 CYA-80 CH-310 ALK-80 BOR-50 SALT-3000 I have a strong chlorine smell that I just can't seem to get of. So I thought I would try a slam. The pool calc. calls for 398 oz liquid chlorine. My question is, what do I do about my SWG during the process?

Thanks for the replies. Pool is sparkling clear. Here are my numbers today: FC-7.0 CC-0.0 PH-7.6 ALK-80 CYA-75 SALT-3000 CH-310 BORATE-50 I NO LONGER SMELL THE CHLORIMINES OR CHLORINE SWG STILL AT 0% Seems like it's taking a long time to drop the FC. Should I be at about 6 on the FC?
