Just making sure all is well...

Gotcha, I added a fair amount of Borax yesterday, so I will test it again tomorrow to see what the levels are then. I would have done it today although we were having nasty storms. Thanks for the heads up. I didnt think about the high Chlorine levels making the pH test high.

We have had at least three touch downs and several water spouts. Keep your head low and batton down anything...

So, with my friend "Gustav" on the way I thought this might be a great time to ask... is there anything specific I should do to or for my pool if we have to evacuate? I can't leave the filter/pump plugged in so I am worried about what I might come home to. And being it's getting to the end of...

    Lighting Question

Absolutely the best match I have seen yet Meatloaf. I bet those would work perfectly! OOOH I am LOVING the globes partypond! Simply because they are colored and 1. wont attract bugs, and 2. because all the other lights are colored! They light up the place really well? Could you snap a pic for...

No problem, just an FYI for those with Intex pools.

I havent posted in a while. Simply because everyones advice here works. Even for the inexpensive Intex (or the like) pools -which is just what I have. I use the TFP test kit as per the step by step instructions on the lid, got my water specs to the "ideal" levels and check it once a day. I...

Ground leveled and pool back up.. (now with photos!)

Ok So I drained the pool and started from scratch after leveling the ground (pictures later today) and we are only 1 inch off (higher) on the side that was so low which I am ok with as I know it will probably shift a bit with a good rain.. I was 2/3 full late last night so we cut off the water...
