    Metals in my TX pool

I just logged on to ask about my pool with similar issue and saw your photos pinned! Do you think mine is the same problem? My stains are on the sides of the pool, not so much on the bottom. Or maybe it's just not as bad on the bottom and not really visible yet...? The first pic is the side, the...

    FC 17, help?

Our FC is 17, CC is 0 or less than .5 CYA 95 We've done liquid chlorine manually in the past but we were using pucks this summer because we were out of town a few times, I had set it high (6) because it was so hot here in Dallas and I was afraid chlorine levels would drop while we were gone and...

Help with New Build Quote & Upgrade Options

Agree! We ordered from Marina a few months ago and love ours! Replaced our polaris cleaner because our booster pump was about to die. The robotic is so much better!

    New Cleaner

I am also considering the robot cleaner to replace ours that runs on booster pump. Do you have to take it out of the pool and put it back in? Does it eliminate the need for brushing the pool? Do you run it everyday? We don't have much debris or leaves in our pool. Thanks!!

Getting in shape, anybody try one of these?

Hmmm. Wonder how hard it is to get in and out of the water. I just use a buoyancy belt and jog in place in the water. Also love using water dumbbells.

    Advice and help on re-plastering.

It is so hard! Does your pool builder have a pool set up in showroom or have customers that will let you see their pools in person? and you can take a piece of the tile and see how it looks? I've had two people on here message me and come see my pool in person when they were choosing colors :)...

    Best Trees for Pool Area?

Italian and leyland cypress in north Texas are very susceptible to a canker disease...not sure if it's the same in Houston, but here you see them turning brown and dying so they are advising not to plant them anymore. Hollies are great--nellie r stevens (the 3 in the middle in my pic), eagleston...
