Update. Passed two nights of OCLT with loosing less than 1PPM of FC each time. Pool is crystal clear. Numbers right now are FC 4.5 CC 0 PH 7.6 TA 170 CYA 51 Is TA something I need to be worried about? I know I've said it a hundred times already, but thank you all.

Small update. Looks like I passed the OCLT. Last night's test showed FC at 12.5 , CC at 0. This morning FC 12, CC 1. I'll let FC drift down to normal levels and test for Ph and TA and see where we need to go from there. Thanks for all the advice. If it wasn't for you all I'd probably still be...

Update as of 7-16 6PM. Went out of town for a couple hours this morning and afternoon. Came home and FC was 15, CC was .5. But the biggest news of all is for the first time in over 2 weeks I can finally start to see the bottom of my pool! :D This is working, thank you all!

You don't have to buy the kit from TFT test kits if that is your hang up. If you think TFP is getting some kind of kick back or profits. I ordered my Taylor 2006 from Amazon. Prime got it to me 2 days later. The Taylor test kits are legit.

Update on whats going on. I started the drain process and refilling before I saw the advice on the dilution test. So I replaced 50% of my water and got it refilled last night. Switched the pump to filter so I would have a solid 8 hours of mixing the water together and took a full battery of test...

Thank you all who have helped so far, hopefully you all haven't forgot about me:D Proper test kit came in today. First test ran was CYA to see what my Chlorine level should be for a SLAM. CYA was off the chart high. over 100. So now I'm wondering if there are any guesses as to how much water...

Thank you duraleigh. Going up. Before I added the bleach it wasn't reading any FC. 7-12 am check. FC was still higher than my tester would read. I'll have the wife check it midday while I'm at work to see if any more bleach needs to be added.

7-11 PM update. I think I discovered why my PH has been creeping up. I had my return jet angled slightly upward created hard ripples on the surface. That would be aerating no? Added 2 gal of bleach and FC is already at 4ppm or past that.

Any advice on what to do further or should I sit tight until Monday? The pool is starting to look greenish.
