I would like to have these installed but would have to be retrofitted. I wonder if it could be done and still maintain my warranty. For me it isn't so much a novelty as they are just cool. Synch these with your playlist and watch the magic.

Until you go to buy cartridges for your filter. I live to the west of you in Tonopah. A sand filter in my opinion is the only way to go in our dusty environment.

The first 2 years we would have literally hundreds of desert frog in our pool at night. Then come morning the smaller ones would get sucked into the skimmer and the bigger ones would either drown or get sucked in the skimmer. Very disgusting to say the least. I came up with a solution, check it...

This fence barrier was my other solution for keeping the creepy crawly desert critters from getting into the pool. It has help tremendously for the most part..... I made a rust accelerator from hydrogen peroxide and vinegar to give it the aged/rustic look. These pics were taken right...

Harleysilo, that is a "Poola Hoops" goal. I really like it. However I would suggest swapping out the nylon net with a metal net. With the Arizona sun and desert living the net here might would last a week. I can post a close up when I get home this evening.
