Also we added a bag of salt to the pool and just realized the salt water system was on, usually we let it only filter without the system for 24 hrs. There is salt build up in the SWS that I can see. Could this be the problem or a contributing factor?

I have a sand filter and when I turn it on it doesn't suck the water out of the pool to the basket where you can usually see the water go into. So water is not being pumped into the filter! I took hose off and there doesn't seem to be a blockage in the hose

Should I start chlorine for a few days? Thanks for the advice!

We were given a salt water system and it is not turning on! I already put in the salt and was ready to use. I will be purchasing a new system to use but so far am only finding a smaller one that says max pool gallons 7,000-----and our pool is 10,000 gallons. Is there any chance it wouldn't...

A friend gave us a Krystal Clear Saltwater System (model CS8110) and Sand Filter Pump (model SF10110) to use with our Intex 22ft, 52 inch pool. We are unsure how to put together. Can these even be used TOGETHER at the same time?:p Any advice. THANKS!
