I have an 18' round, 48" above ground pool. My wife is complaining that the water kind of smells swampy. It kind of offends her but not me. The pool is balanced quite well with chloreen and ph. Is there anything I can do to eliminate this?

So from what I understand what you are saying just the light blue ones at about 12 mil is the best bet.

Yes, well kindof, I do not have the ability to weld, however was looking to purchase a reel and free stad it. I do not like the idea of splitting the pool in 1/2 and swinging the cover out of the way. :cheers:

I have an above the ground 18' oval pool. I am looking to use a solar cover. I have seen on this site home made stands for the reels. I want my wife to be able to crank the cover off and on by herself seeing I am not always here. I am thinking about buying a reel and placing it at the end of...
