    Leak in pool over winter

Update: We pulled all of the plywood cover off. I then had to remove 2 winter covers and lots of leaves. The liner looked to be in good shape. We cleaned and began to refill with water, since there was only about 2ft left in the deep end. It was a challenge, but I managed to re-set the liner...

    Leak in pool over winter

My vinyl IG pool water dropped over the winter. I added water when i noticed the cover dropping in, but it happened again. Long story short I didn't want to keep pouring water into the pool over the winter. I had the pool covered with plywood and a winter cover to protect it. I have no idea...

    Opened a clear pool again

So I opened my pool on Saturday and it was crystal clear just as I closed it. Less than 10mins of vaccuming needed to get some small debris from bottom. I threw in 1gallon of 12% liquid bleech and got all my equipment running the first day. I took my first readings the following day after...

    Help with green pool

Hey everyone, hoping for some help from the experts. I opened to a green pool a few weeks ago but had it sparkling clear using TFP method. My cartridge filter/pump has been running at 24hrs( never set timer back) I have been checking my levels and all reading are ok. My testing is limited to...

14x32 Rectangular Inground pool - Need depth suggestions

We're very happy with our setup. If you are in the deep end I don't think how quickly or how steep the slope really matters is. You are swimming at that point and not touching the floor. If you are in the shallow side then you can swim or walk around with a flat bottom. A slope does not afford...

14x32 Rectangular Inground pool - Need depth suggestions

We had a 14x28 put in last year. The shallow end is about 40% of the length and we have a 7ft deep end for the rest. Why such a small shallow end?

Remodel Pool in Northern Climate using ICF.

The liner track on my recently installed steel wall pool is probably 3-4" wide.....so they exist wider than the 2" you mention. I can't provide details on the brand but they are white aluminium designed for paver coping.

new vinyl inground paver coping install

From what I know the non-cove/bullnose based liner track will work for any non concrete deck. Meaning you shouldn't need to change out the track that is used with the stegmeier forms if you choose to go with a paver coping (assuming the stegmeier liner track from the kit was used). No expert, so...

new vinyl inground paver coping install

I'm in the same boat as you, except my pool was just finished. Make sure the liner track coping used during the build is for "pavers/stone coping" and not for a concrete deck. Probably already covered this but figured it was worth mentioning again. I am still "considering" a cantilevered...

Chicago Kidney IG Vinyl Pool Build

Sorry to hear about your delays. We're enjoying our first week of swimming in our Vinyl IG. We lucked out and all went on or ahead of schedule. Less than 3 weeks from signing contract to swimming. Our longest delay was waiting for the custom liner to be made (about 1.5weeks). No deck yet, but...
