    115 or 230v?

Not following. I don't know how I can trace the wires when they go underground. I'm not ripping it all up. Can anyone review my attachments and verify that the wiring diagram and the matching wiring configuration on the old pump indicates 230v ?

    115 or 230v?

Thanks. Does it matter which wire from meter (red or black) goes to wire to pump (black or white)?

    115 or 230v?

So my pump died and I don't know if it was running on 115 or 230? It's on a double breaker, which suggests 230, but the wires are black, white and green, which suggests 115.... The old pump wiring diagram, if I'm reading it correctly looks like it was wired for 230 (high voltage). I want to...

    Intex Sand Filter leak

Gotta love Amazon- even though I've had it 8 months they said they'll accept return for a refund. But it's full of sand and I still need a filter pump... theyre cheaper right now on Amazon than when I bought it so I'd save money, just don't want the hassle of emptying sand and returning lol

    Intex Sand Filter leak

True- thanks for advice but I got the pump off amazon warehouse deals. It was an 'open box' item and cheap. Guess that's why it's cracked!

    Intex Sand Filter leak

I bought an Intex sand filter last year and have taken my sweet time to replace the crappy stock cartridge filter because I needed to cut out the drain and return holes to accommodate the larger plumbing. Anyway. I completed it and hooked it all up and discovered a pool of water emanating from...

    Intex pool bottom clean

I'm gonna get this when I use up all my cartridges for existing pump. How many returns and inlets do you have on your pool and are you able to leave inlets/skimmer on while you vacuum or do you still need dedicated suction?

    Intex SWG high salt error

Hooked up the new control unit last night and it's working fine. Hope it lasts. The control unit was complete except the clear plastic tubing, the flow sensor and the two electrolytic plates. To replace, had to unplug flow sensor and two plates, then unscrew plastic tubing from old unit and...

    High salt

I don't think the salt test is necessary. The test strips should be accurate enough if you're using them as directed. What is make and model is your SWG? How old is it? With my experience, it seems as though it is faulty.

    Intex hard plumbing

Thought so, thanks! But then I won't be able to use my Intex vacuum, with a Hayward inlet.. Main thing I want is elbows so the hoses don't hang on the return and inlets, dragging them down at an angle. Also want to maintain flexibility for liner movement. So if I use the 40mm Intex return and...

    Intex hard plumbing

I've been unable to find it and read they modified their design. I keep going back and forth on how I want to do this. Now I'm thinking of using Hayward 1.5" returns and inlets, with 1.5" PVC 90deg elbows, then connecting the Intex hoses. How would I connect 40mm Intex hoses to PVC?

    Intex SWG high salt error

Got my new control unit in the mail yesterday. I'll be hooking it up this evening probably. Looks like it's essentially a whole new unit minus the clear plastic tubing that the hoses connect to. Fair play to Intex support. Hoping I get more longevity with this one. I'll update later.

    Intex pool bottom clean

Thanks. How did you then connect that to your Intex pump?

    Intex hard plumbing

I know there is a bunch of threads on this but all I've found are products that are no longer carried by Lowes or Home Depot or the manufacturers have altered their designs (conduits, box adapters etc.). So, I currently have the smaller 1.25" hoses and want to upgrade to 1.5" (40mm) Intex hoses...

    Intex pool bottom clean

Off topic, but what did you use to do your plumbing? Connectors and hose?
