When they were filling my pool some dirty water came out of the bubbler and stained my sun shelf. PB told me the stain would fade but it never did. Then they tried acid wash, but the stain is still there. Now he wants to replaster just the sun shelf. Can this be done? Will it ever look right?

Does the pool shell have to be dry before they can plaster? We have a foot of water standing in the bottom of the pool and they are coming to plaster in the morning. If they pump it out in the morning will that be ok. My wife read in a book that the shell must be dry or the plaster will come off.

Can you add relays to a P-4? It has places for the additional relays and spot on the board to plug them in to.

Its not in my contract. Does it have to be sealed right away? If I cant get to it before they plaster I guess I will have to drain it below tile and do it myself.

Should the PB seal my tile grout?

Thanks for all of the ideas. I have tried many of them over the years and the most effective seems to be staying inside. We have a new pool going in and staying inside or getting sprayed down every hour or two does not seem like a good option. In south Texas we have mosquitos almost year round...

Does anyone have any experience with mosquito misting systems? Are they worth the money? We are getting eaten alive.

We went and looked at pools before we decided on the blue plaster but after the having to sign the waivers we started having second thoughts. We did not get to look at any at night with LED lights though.

I am not sure what they are using for color. They just told me that I had to be there when they mix it to approve the color. I had to sign a waiver for the mottling and for the brightness of the pool lights. We are using 2 Colorlogix 4.0 lights in a 31' pool.

Does anyone have any thoughts on colored plaster? I am trying to decide weather or not to go with blue tinted plaster or plain white. We are putting in LED lights and I am concerned with the brightness and mottling. Going with the white will save me $750. Is it worth it?
