No, I am now just shy of 4 year mark. I am a little upset for the cost of these pumps to only last 4 years, and now I’m torn on weather to replace or go alternate vendor. I have heard mixed bag on the pentair also. :(

Hey guys of course pumps always fail when we least need them. Its in the 100's this week in Nor Cal and I came home to notice my Hayward ecostar said pump drive error. Any ideas on how to fix this? I have turned off breaker and waited 10 minutes with no success. Thanks.

Did you put in more sand then the filter is rated to Handel? Is your pump leaking anywhere from increased back pressure? Has the motor been removed from the pump at all?

I am actually wanting to buy my own first SWG and was looking at their Calimar SWG for 500 since I heard its owned by CircuPool. I am having a real hard time justifying 900 that pentair wants for their system, any suggestions?

Have you checked to see if your voltage is within operating limits, your transformer may be malfunctioning so no matter how much you are running through the cell it's not being powered. I would also take it apart and look at the fins for any hard water build up or clog/damaged fin
