Burying a Radiant! How we dropped an AGP in our yard

Yes. After much research. I just purchased a 28' round Sharkline Matrix Resin pool with salt system. It is supposedly one of the best salt pools offered. It should be delivered anyday now. It has all resin tracks and components. Only the wall itself is steel. I buried an above ground that...

CONCRETE AROUND A/G POOL..... How'd they do that?

Great idea. I will do some pricing on pavers. I was thinking of backfilling with a sand/Portland mix but wasn't sure if that would put too much weight on the walls.

Burying a Radiant! How we dropped an AGP in our yard

I loved reading your post and can so relate. I am also someone who has a hard time with the words, "CANNOT BE DONE" and generally never listen to that. lol..Out of curiosity, when they put down the gravel, what did they put over the top of the gravel to protect the liner? I am about to bury...

CONCRETE AROUND A/G POOL..... How'd they do that?

Thanks so much. I read the entire thread from start to finish. However, I'm becoming discouraged because they had a radiant pool which has preformed panels. I checked into those but just could not afford it. So my install may be quite different. I too, am not one to listen to "cannot be...

CONCRETE AROUND A/G POOL..... How'd they do that?

I saw some photos on this site of a round above ground that had been buried completely with concrete decking. I just purchased a 28' Sharkline Matrix Resin Salt pool and that is EXACTLY what we would like to do. We are just not sure how to backfill in order for it to support the concrete. I...

    Our little bit of heaven!

Beautiful. I am about to install an above ground completely buried and would love to do this. My only question is what to backfill with. Do you know what they used to backfill? Was is just dirt or some special mix?

Sand or Sand/Portland mix under A/G Liner

Where do you find this material? - - - Updated - - - Yes I checked into pool-crete but it is very expensive. I don't think I could afford enough of it.

Sand or Sand/Portland mix under A/G Liner

Thanks so much. Can you tell me a formula? Like Sand/Portland/ Vermiculite? 7/1/? Also, I have seen many posts about using the styrene foam boards. Wouldn't those break down over time? My last pool I just used sand and NEVER was able to achieve a smooth flat bottom.

Sand or Sand/Portland mix under A/G Liner

I am installing a new A/G. Have had one in the past and helped family members install one also. However, I have never been able to compact sand well enough to maintain smooth bottom for liner installation. Someone told me to mix 7 parts sand to 1 part Portland so that it would compact...
