Main Drain Cover Broken, Is it Safe?

There are 2 open pipes at the bottom of the skimmer. The former cover seemed to be original, so it definitely was not compliant as the pool was built in the 1970s. I swam down to the drain while the pump was running and feel no suction at all at the pipe.

Main Drain Cover Broken, Is it Safe?

My inground pool has one main drain in the deep end that I believe is attached to the skimmer basket. I have no valves where I can switch the pump to draw water from either the skimmer or the main drain. Last night, I had the main drain cover break and am looking for a replacement. The cover...

100% Water Replacement So I'm Starting From Scratch

Thanks again for the help and input. I checked in with our contractor and found that the paint is Olympic Zeron Epoxy Pool Coating. I sent Olympic a message asking about the salt and have received a reply that salt will not be an issue for the product. As far as whether the paint will...

100% Water Replacement So I'm Starting From Scratch

Having some work done which required emptying the entire pool. I'll be refilling in the next couple days. During the transition, I'm also moving over to SWG with the Circupool Core-55. I know it is probably more SWG than my 15000 gallon pool needs, but it was available and I figured less %...

Electrical Advice for Connecting Curcupool Core 55 SWG

Thanks for the replies and help. Based on conversation here, I took the following actions: 1. Since it's inside a shed and dry, I ran yellow romex from the timer to a junction box. 2. I put black tape on both ends of the Romex white wire. 3. I clipped the edison plug off of the Core-55...

Pool is Empty, Heat is Coming

No, the entire pool was painted with epoxy paint last year. This year it should just be the patch that didn't take.

Pool is Empty, Heat is Coming

Hi All, We renovated our gunite pool last spring, but there was one area about 4x4 ft where the concrete did not stay down and curled up during the winter. We also needed to do a retile of the entire pool as the tile we chose didn't work out. So about 10 days ago, we drained it for the...

Electrical Advice for Connecting Curcupool Core 55 SWG

Hi all, I'm converting over to SWG and have purchased in installed (Plumbing portion) the Circupool Core 55 SWG. As I'm looking at the next step for hooking up electrical, I'd like to get a recommendation on the best course of action for the connection. I have an intermatic double pole timer...

    Which Intermatic Timer Model?

    Thanks everyone.

    Which Intermatic Timer Model?

Thank you for your help. Does that mean that the input voltage on these switches is the combined input and not simply the per line input? I'm thinking that each of the poles are bringing in 120, thus I was thinking that I needed a 120 input voltage switch. It would make sense then that it's...

    Which Intermatic Timer Model?

I'm trying to ensure I purchase the correct Intermatic mechanical timer model for my pump (in sig). Can someone help confirm my thinking on this? Since my pump has 2 hot leads, I believe need a DPST switch. This leads me to the Intermatic 103R. However when I look at the wiring diagram, it...

Pentair Superflow.1.5 HP 2 Speed Whining and Roaring

Hi, Two days ago I had a problem where my polaris pump hose broke at the outflow of the pump. We weren't home at the time and found it after a good deal of water had gushed inside of our pumphouse. It didn't submerge any of the equipment, but everything in the building got a good dousing...
